Heart disease is one of the leading killers across all ethnic groups worldwide. Understanding how heart health and society interplay can help prevent and even reverse the #1 deadliest disease for Black people within the United States.
Racism, though non-quantifiable can be quantified through the health disparities in the different minority groups in the US. This presentation deals particularly with African-Americans and the physiological affects of perceived racism.
